I was here 4 days ago with 23 government papers, detailing that I should be able to buy 3 eggs, 1 loaf of bread, 2 liters of water, and various roots for this month. To my surprise, some guy in front of me took the last of the roots! I stood in line to complain for 5 hours and the store manager told me to come back 2 months from now for my roots. He also told me to not eat my eggs and bread too quickly. Excellent service and advice! I bet he was privileged enough to go to Kim Jong Il University.

The statue was very poor like most the people around. Nobody knew directions and they were using wooden phones. Also the line for food was across the city just for a carrot. Some people even ate each other they got so hungry in line. When I said I was an American everyone gave me a death glare too. It was crazy and I was nice to everyone!
